The Caravan/Camping section held a 3night rally on the 23/25th April at the Hutton le Hole Caravan Park. For the time of year the weather stayed pretty good with just a slight hailstone storm on the Monday as the folks walked from Hutton le Hole to Lastingham. Steve Goforth organised the event and ten units took part, with walks, quizzes, BBQs and a meal together on the Tuesday night at the Crown in Hutton le Hole the Rally was enjoyed by all.

56 members took a trip to the North york Moors Railway on the 30th June 2017 for a special running of the newly refurbished Royal Scot steam train. As lightly delyed service as it didnt seem to like getting up in a morning we enjoyed a trip from Grosmont to Pickering and return followed by an evening meal at the Station Hotel next to the Railway Station who served us very well. The sun shon for us and it really proved to be a wonderful day out

National Brewery & National Memorial Arboretum Trip Oct 2016

A group of 26 of us headed off to the National Brewery in Burton on Trent on the Saturday morning, following a superb buffet lunch on arrival we were met by our tour guide Olly. A great tour round the museum followed by a few free tokens to sample some of the ales brewed over there. Staying overnight in the Hallmark Hotel, Derby on arrival we were greeted by afternoon tea and cakes before going to dinner which was again top quality. The following day a trip to the National Memorial Arboretum which to be fair needs a full day possibly two to visit all of the 330+ memorials. But a solemn walk down "The Beat" an area set aside for a Policing Memorial was taken by all.
Overall a superb weekend and terrific value for money and our special thanks go to Radleys Coaches and their our Colin who sorted the trip and looked after us extremely well.
